Finally some love for My Vitriol on here. They're better than Muse for me. Like you said, had they not fallen off the earth they would have been a massive band. Always Your Way and Moodswings are as good as anything SP 1 ever did. They just couldn't hold their shit together and never followed up Finelines with anything substantial within their heyday. Such a shame.

Ithis! I dont know how big bully is in usa, but here in europe people / radio stations / press give a shit about the pumpkins.

I remember shortly before scheissgeist came out, newspapers ,magazines and other press had been reporting about the first album since the split.

Then it dropped and fans/ listeners and critics were kinda disappointed.3 stars

Billy hasnt had one successful album since 2000 here.

Sure do not trust the reviews.....but as we all know....... belzebub hasnt had success with any hit single or album for the last 20 years.

They use a lot of like - cybermetal slide guitar textures which I don't think I've ever heard James do [but seems like he'd be amazing at it and be a fucking awesome direction for the band (instead of motherfucking CEERYR)]

It's a shame My Vitriol jumped from their cult debut to a (reasonably ok) nostalgia reunion record 20 years later. Skipping the megabucks career and breakthrough albums in between.

Fine lines will always be a belter, though.

I'm open to other types of music, but like 99.9% of the stuff that is recommended here is usually on par with Run2Me. In like 20 years of being here I haven't found any bands through Netphoria.
