I like that there's so many Batman comics out there you can pretty much never run out of Batman/Robin gay innuendo jokes and it's never not funny.

I wupped Batman's ass

yeah there's this one place around me that's like $15 per person weekday lunch, I just throw down a $20 w/ tip. it's fucking amazing. there's some cheaper places but this one place is so fucking amazing and their american-type food is also great. admittedly i eat about 90% sushi when i go there, because of course i do. they have awesome macaroni and cheese w/ lobster and shrimp in it. i go about 3x a year. one time i went for weekend dinner with a friend and they had a fucking breakfast station with omlettes and french toast and shit too.

really it's the best sushi i've ever had AND i can eat as much of it as a want so... in those 30 minutes, it's like i know god

the last time i got indian food for lunch it was a buffet and at the end i was thinking you know i should have just went ahead and ordered what i actually like instead of going through this farce of pretending to sample bits of this and bits of that (its not like i don't know what shit tastes like) but on the other hand i didn't want to be a dick and be the only person in the place ordering from the menu. not gonna piss chef off.

it can be really hit or miss.. some places are just straight up garbage.. some places are legit good but they leave thw sushi out too long or theyll have inconsistent quality of chefs throughout the week... if the buffet is over 20 bucks its usually the good stuff though

that's what i'm saying. why not just order exactly what you want other than it's lunchtime and you don't want to disturb the buffet vibe.

imo sushi is not really a mix and match substance

i dunno a regular sushi meal runs me about 30 bucks for like two rolls and beer and a sake... whereas a buffett its like, youre walking out of there so full youre in physical pain if you want.. really more of a bang for your buck kind of thing.

buffets in general be kind of whack tho

Yeah most sushi buffets are either not very good, have questionable health standards, or both. This one though is the bomb diggity. I do like having different rolls and some straight up sashimi as well. I like being able to get a shitload of different things.

i went to a sushi buffet the other day and the manager was like man you're such a good customer i'm going to make you the house special.. and it was just awful .. some cream cheese thing. and he pulled up a chair and talked to me the whole time so i had to eat the whole thing. otherwise very very high quality sushi but i don't think i'll ever go there again

There's a great all you can eat sushi bar i love in montreal but whenever i go i don't actually eat much sushi (which i like enough but im not crazy about either) but rather all the amazing other japanese food they have.

Once we went there for my gf's bday and hmm...she was in charge of ordering and over ordered by a lot, she wasn't really thinking (and misjudged the size of some of the stuff). Thing is, it's like 15$ for all you can eat but you have to pay extra for anything you DON'T eat...it was me her and a friend and there was food to fill up like 6 people at least.... We stuffed ourselves, i mean to the extent i thought i might have to go and puke to continue. We realised we never could eat all but tried to eat as much as possible so we wouldn't pay TOO much for the rest. I'm not sure I ever ate so much in one go before or since. Eventually we talked to the staff and explained the situation and they let us pay like half what we should have for what was left (you take the stuff home of course but still, the point was to go there cause it was good AND cheap). We still ended up paying like maybe 25$ extra so nearly two other people..... At least the food was great....but it felt more like torture in the end.
