and remember they went to college for 5-8 years after undergraduate. even if you shove in 32 hours, that's 3200 = 12800 a month x 12 = 153,600. they might end up with 100k max. that's a lot of money but that's max after probably 20 years as a private practice therapist. i don't think it's unreasonable really.
like how fucking dense are you that you can't see this is the problem jesus christ you're just so fucking satisfied with the system

it's not about how much college costs it's about how much time they spent learning without getting paid

if i wanted to get PAID i would go to pharmacy school - roughly same time in school, a bit less, get paid more in most cases plus get benefits and a lot of time off and don't have to deal with billing insurance

i understand your company doesn't offer insurance, but there is the affordable care act. i can't read your mind, i'm sorry

i haven't had to deal with it but the few people i know on it pay virtually nothing because of subsidies

i didn't qualify for medicare while on unemployment because i made too much & had to pay for insurance so i didn't, now i have a modest income and i can get insurance if i work 30+ hours a week but they only pay half so i basically cripple my income for something to pay into like a goddamn scam

this whole society is a fucking scam, this shit is not helpful, i couldnj't afford to go to the doctor even if i had a copay

you didn't see when fuzzy admitted he thought obamacare was an insurance plan and then tried to defend himself that "it might as well be"

i had a lot of conversations about that at my last job, i was ultimately fired because i would hang up on people that wouldn't listen. there was one lady that said she bought the administration's insurance and started yelling at me when i explained to her that humana is a private company and not necessarily the same as Obama. she said her policy had his face on it.

its bad, i get really annoyed when people act like having insurance is a solution

i got a $35 copay on a podiatrist to send me to a physical therapist for $25 copay a session for about 3-4 months to fix my feet and its absurd how much physical pain i used to be in (and i assumed i was just soft). I mean to me thats about how much this should cost, maybe a little bit more like 40 bucks to rub my feets & make me do nfl combine drills for a half hour. But the true cost are made up numbers on a paper its just ludicrous right now.

of course the insurance company did make me pay $345 bucks for the insoles
