The new STP singer sounds just like Weiland

Songs awful and it seems like Rob and Dean can't write a good song anymore, but I have to hand it to them, the guy does sound a lot like Weiland. I guess this ensures that they can still be a player on the 90's nostalgia circuit

I didn't know STP was reviving. I probably won't be able to stand it. I never could accept the new AIC. At least I got to see STP once but Layne was dead just a year or two before I really got into them

Yeah, I'm not really down with the new AIC either. There was a couple pretty good songs on their first record back, but the 2nd one they put out was trash... Their singles were pretty lame too. Like that one about California.

I saw em live with the new guy and while he was accurate and proficient enough, there just wasn't any energy or intensity in his delivery.
