Default Scary Cartoon Characters

What cartoon characters freaked you the hell out when you were little?

Dr. Claw is the first I can think of at the moment.

Is this the new appraoch to shit threads now? Just bombard them with other examples of shit threads? That's a pretty innovative approach actually, suprised it's taken that long to formulate.

i remember having a dream when i was younger that they almost showed dr claw's face. he was frustrated and turned around, with his hand over his face., shaking his head. he had horns!

i was confused for years after that if i had actually seen it or it was a dream.

they sold an action figure that you could unmask or something, I could swear...

I don't think he had horns, I think he was an old man or something......

Yeah but who says that's what he REALLY looks like? Maybe the toy company just had to come up with something so they could flog more toys?

I know...I used to watch it a lot too. But I was so freaked out by the gnome.

Yet I couldn't stop watching it!

I guess the same effect Teletubbies have on kids these days. Or whatever's popular now.

Does anyone remember a show for kids with puppets and actors, i.e. with scenes on a graveyard? I think there was a talking knight's armor, a ghost and something/someone green.
I'm absolutely positive that it wasn't Sesame Street. Maybe I only dreamt it up, though.

I gained the concept of fear at the age of nine and I think all I watched then was dexter's lab and powerpuff girls and they're not all that scary. I really liked the powerpuff girls.

this episode of Aeon Flux has been burned into my mind ever sense i first saw it at my cousins house late on MTV almost 14 years ago. i just found it on youtube and i remember practically the entire episode without having seen it in over a decade. the parts the disturbed my 7 year old mind most were the nipple sucking and then the man being shot for what seemed to be no reason. ENJOY!

The Head kinda creeped me out when I was younger...

Now does anyone remember the MTV Oddities segments with those sick old men and their adventures? I can't recall if they were just shorts or their own show...
