Dude's hilarious. Obviously Jon Stewart is irreplaceable but Noah is seriously doing a great job. TDS is still the only show I watch regularly that almost always gets me to LOL at least once per episode.

Did you guys give up on TDS when Jon left or is anyone else still watching?

It's good. He's getting more comfortable now. Interviews are still super awkward. Even more awkward than Jon's awkward interviews.

He's good, but I'm so used to Stewart's delivery and mannerisms. Trevor Noah seems more uptight, less comfortable... and certain jokes that would be funny coming out of Stewart's mouth fall kind of flat to me. But he doesn't suck and I'm sure he will come into his own more.

I loved it with Kilborn. I liked the tone, too. Instead of sarcastic and satirical takes on actual news, it was frequently surreal with bizarre made-up stories. Reminded me of Monty Python.

I still liked what Stewart did with it, but I miss the Kilborn style

That's no theory, or even conspiracy, which implies illegality. But the fact remains; Jews own Hollywood and much of the entertainment world.

a culture obsessed with education, study, merit, hard work, professional respectability, and familial career paths that also happens to be comprised mostly of affluent white people who have one of (if not the) best cultural network systems of any minority group produces a disproportionate number of individuals who do important things? no way bro.

Jews are a "model" minority in the US, it's no secret and no one was saying otherwise. There are other cultural groups which have special power within certain spheres (e.g. Indian Americans and other central-Asian heritages such is American Iranians and American Pakistanis produce a very disproportionate number of medical professionals), and Jews have that sort of influence on a number of influential fields, namely banking, law, and the entertainment industry. Jews aren't alone in having a special cultural power, they just have some good ones.
