Okay, well not where I'm from (Canada). Chalk it up to regional differences, I suppose. I've never once heard anyone use the term without it bearing negative/unwanted connotations, - eg; 'I don't mean to impose upon you, but...'

And yes, there is an 'or' in that definition - 'unfamiliar' - and I'm not denying that, but it's use still requires a forced, concentrated attempt, which, to reiterate; I don't think Jeff has done or could in any way, shape or form, potentially because he largely lacks a defined personal recognizable style, potentially because Bill dictates everything he can and can't do.

I don't think anyone could disagree with that, despite semantics.

Sorry to impose, but I can confirm that the word imposed can be used in this case and Ihaguitar is correct.

Shadaloo, hang your head in sha, sha, sha, sha, sha shame.

Is there a gif of jeff smashing his guitar and walking off stage - that was an imposing moment.

impose has a negative connotation, or at the very least it denotes something which is coming into a space in opposition to the other things there

I just received a communication from Alex Jones: this isn't Jeff, it is actually a crisis actor that was being used to try to make SP2 seem interesting.

What was the reason for that again? What did Billy shout at him? I have the sound off so not listening to the audio.

Jeff has been made docile through a combination of electrical shock operant conditioning and a daily dose of Soma

IMO Iha played either power chords, or made funny ebow/whammy pedal sounds. Jeff brings technical skill, making songs like Gossamer and the album Oceania possible. Sometimes adversity brings out the best in people, and I think maybe Jeff's capability takes some load Corgan, not necessarily for the better.
