Kind of unexoexted their last album was way too blnd for my raste. So Im glsd they're doing something new, but afrer the ijitial durpride wore iff it didnt seem very comoelking

In any case there is a new album june 17, looking forwsrd to thst. Seeing thrm mid april, eimder how thst will be.

I hope tjst keyboarr/guitsr/etc guys departure didnt weaken them too much

first world problems here. i had been looking forward to seeing these guys for months, got tickets for the show in sf the minute they went on sale. show is this coming wednesday but i unexpectedly have to go out of the country for work (amsterdam), leaving tomorrow. AHHH! man i love this band so much, i hope to hell this is not their last tour.

yeah i sure hope so. i mean they've been together since 1994, that's nearly 20 years. and kjartan left after their last album. and he was a huge part of their sound. been doing it forever, etc. and it's not inconcievable that some of the others feel that way. this album is supposed to be a change in direction and if it doesn't do tht well, jonsi's got his solo thing to go back to.. which was good but for me nowhere near the power of sigur ros. im considering traveling to another state when i get back to see them..
