You all might want to try bidding at Priceline.com too. You should be able to get a 4 star room for $75-$100 per night. Make sure you select the "Loop / Millennium Park" zone in order to win a hotel close to the venues.
Good idea, thanks

4-Star for the 21st is now sold out...

For all you Chicago-ans, Q101 is giving away pairs of tickets all weekend for the 21st and 22nd shows.

I'm just going to the chicago theatre shows. I'll arrive in chicago around 10:00 am on the 18th, then fly back early on the 20th. stopping in atlanta between flights... I'm going to hype the hell out of these shows. I want to get there early so I can check out some diners and enjoy chicago a bit while I'm there. I have a friend I'm meeting up with to have some drinks that I haven't seen in a while. Should be fun.

Hey guys.. been since last years tour since I've posted here. Anyways... I have the 5 star VIP ticket for the Nov. 18 show in Chicago. I am flying from Memphis by myself to see it and was wondering if there was anyone going I could 'buddy' up with? It'll be my first time in Chicago and I'll be alone which kinda sucks. Anyways.. if anyone would be cool with me chillin' with them during my stay there please just message me on my myspace @ myspace.com/blackkloud thanks!

$10 says that stupid silver dress. That's what's going into Guitar Hero and on the cover for the GLOW promo.

I'm hoping he'll pull out his old outfits during the shows...bust out the Superman, Zero, 666, random hippy button-up. That would be sweet.

yeah. I brought a friend to the show at ovens this year, and he asked me about billys attire, and I explained that indeed he does wear a skirt to every show. didn't play out too well. lol

Don't know...with something as momentous as their 20th anniversary tour, I'd hope he'd have a new outfit for it. Silver attire has already been out for two tours.

The 2 day passes are up for tomorrow

Chicago Theater starts at $47
Auditorium starts at $96

I wouldn't bet on getting a $47 2 day pass.

I wonder how long it will take for them to sell out? There were tons of people trying the Q101 giveaway over the weekend. You were supposed to be the 500th texter after you get the signal to do so and it literally took ~5 seconds.

I'm just looking to pick up a pair for the Wednesday night show so I can go with a buddy, time to bring the laptop to class again...

Didn't the tickets for the Normal show last year sell out crazy fast??

I can't tell from the Ticketmaster website, but when these things go on sale tomorrow morning, can you buy a set for both nights at the Chicago, or do you have to get a separate ticket for each night?

This is a hyper paranoid response, but do you mean so people can be ready for the 10am onsale time or is there a 9am presale I'm not aware of? I'm so fucking anxious about getting tickets.

Although the wording is a little confusing on ticketmaster, I'm pretty sure you buy a set for both nights. Can anybody confirm who has done this for another date?

Also, what's the value in calling the venue at 10am tomorrow? Pointless?

I'm actually not sleeping. This method has been very ineffective in the past. But I went to the movies, had some popcorn, and a redbull. Here it is almost 1 am. For the sake of my sanity someone keep me awake...

Yeah, there's entries on Tickemaster for both nights, and then another for "Smashing Pumpkins 2-day event"

But when you click on that one, it just says "individual tickets will be sold for each night". It's confusing.

Mine's been up for nearly three years too!

"This event will sell one ticket for each day - Friday November 21 and Saturday November 22. "

Is that the part you're referring to, suncrashesdown? I think it's crappy phrasing too, and I generally don't like the crapshoot that has become the 2-day tickets, but it wouldn't make sense if they made us buy the tickets individually. I have to imagine that they come together in one transaction.

*sigh* I really hope the 2-days are good seats and that I manage to get them. I think I might shut down for the day if I don't.
