I saw a copy of TFE for like £3 in Fopp a few months after release and I still didn’t buy it to complete “the collection”.

I foolishly bought the super edition of Zeitgeist and binned it a few years ago.

Good times being a Pumpkins fan. What albums have you bought and tossed? I have a cd copy of Cyr I can’t wait to throw out in 2025.

-Bollzebub sez the whole thing is 80 tracks total. The resequenced album is 50, with 30 extra tracks.

-There's no live disc this reissue because there's too much studio material.

-Vasily's artwork apparently isn't being used, he alluded to new artwork but it's been a good year since anything was said about it one way or another.

I wouldn't say a troll post. I know we're not getting anything nearly as good as it could be. More just a fantasy take on what the reissue should be like to celebrate the last gasp of life the Pumpkins had.

You know what's great - people have been making their own compilations and tracklists for how many years with this thing - the fact that he says it's 50 songs basically guarantees that the build your own album tradition is going to continue.

Thank you very much for the post and for that information. Within the last week or so . . . . . someone posted that the Machina re-issue was delayed until next year [or something like that]. If it is being delayed until next year, what goal does that accomplish?

I dont get the fact that some artists are releasing stuff almost yearly whereas bolly announes shit that never or years later gets released.

Who needs a machina reissue? Some new mixes with bully voice front.. sixth version of if there is a god....

Use bandcamp...promote it...and give fans the chance to afford the viper room acoustic set....

Cut the guy some slack will ya? He had to charge $170+shipping for the Billy/Jimmy signed vinyl of a 11-song 1992 japanese club show. It was probably a tough decision to make.

Yup, it's really quite easy, but Billy seems to wanna make it more difficult. The foundation is literally ready to go on Bandcamp. Put out a monthly release on Bandcamp and also create a monthly VIP subscription. VIP get all the monthly releases as they come out, plus get a weekly bonus, like an acoustic demo or alternate take or live rehearsal track. Each week is a little special one off for paying monthly. If Billy had enough music like he says, he could easily do this. Hell, the electronic music producer Amon Tobin is doing something like this and he's doing quite well. You pay $60 for a year VIP membership and get early previews/singles, non-album tracks, EPs, sound packs, mixes, along with all the official albums. He is currently in year 2 of his Nomark Club and has dropped a ton of music over the last two years (more music than Billy has in the last two years with all his bogus promises.) Bandcamp also lets you do vinyl fundraising/pressing, which Amon Tobin also does and sells out every time.
