I need C'Mon in FLAC
Anyone point me in the right direction?
I also need Love (old demo) from the Reel Time Sessions in FLAC also. Last edited by aeroplume : 05-22-2011 at 03:06 AM. |

Well, here's my reconstruction of what a theoretical official album of the 89 Demos would be like. It's flac, it's best possible soundquality, and both C'mon and Love are on there. So here you go.

Yeah, I've done lots of things like this. I usually post the results here (and at other messageboards I frequent) so you can find them pretty easily if interested. Here are some of the random crazy audio-projects I've done (with a mediafire link if available... (SP-related) Smashing Pumpkins Imaginary First Album, 1989 Yeah, the one in this thread that you already dl'd. Reconstruction of Smashing Pumpkins Glass & The Machines of God double-concept album I posted my results in the other thread on the Gen Board, but I'm still working on it, as it's pretty difficult to find a cohesive tracklist that follows the storyline. So it's still under construction. I also have a single-disc version I think is quite good... Single-album Teargarden lol I actually really dislike the Teargarden songs, but I find it an enjoyable challenge to take the songs and piece together a solid album. This one also underconstruction, but I've posted my results before. Smashing Pumpkins Aeroplane Flies High What if the boxset was just one album, a sequal to Pisces Iscariot? My reconstruction is way less interesting: as it's just the 12-song promo with Set The Ray To Jerry and Marquis In Spades tagged on at the end! Zwan - Going To Riverview It's basically an anthology of all the non-LP Zwan songs. (non-SP related) The Beatles - Get Back My reconstruction of what the Get Back album should have been, using pieces of from Let It Be, Let It Be Naked, and Get Back ver 2. Beach Boys - SMiLE (Authentic mix) Reconstruction of the Beach Boys famed unreleased album, my mix attempts to reconstruct SMiLE presumably how it would have actually sounded like in 1967, not 2005. http://www.mediafire.com/?zenyceydt2t The Flaming Lips - Zaireeka (superior 5-in-1 stereo mix) This is the Flaming Lips' 4-disc simultaneous album mixed down to a single stereo disc. Unlike other mixdowns, I actually put some thought into the mixes and attempted to make the mixes sound less cluttered and messy. I also included elements of the fifth bonus disc too. http://www.mediafire.com/?1xm9i5vltk373np The Flaming Lips - Embryonic short version OK, this is my edit of the Flaming Lips' double-album, but I condensed the 18-track/70-minute album down to 12-tracks/12 songs. The effect is a really concise album. http://www.mediafire.com/?nzqp069t977gzk1 Weezer - Songs From The Black Hole Reconstruction of the unrleased rock-opera that eventually became Pinkerton. 90% done, only missing the tracks that are supposed to be on Alone III, which was supposed to have come out in March. Otherwise, ready to go, and I've done some creative edits that I haven't seen anyone else do... Weezer - Summer Songs album reconstruction This is a reconstruction of what the follow-up to Pinkerton should have sounded like, utilizing the leaked recordings of the live "summer songs", the songs that were all scrapped for the material that instead became the atrocity The Green Album http://www.mediafire.com/?plapwk0flgc3o4c Weezer - Album V Demos album reconstruction Same as above, only an attempt to make a better followup to Maladroit, using the songs scrapped in favor of the material that eventually became Make Believe. Olivia Tremor Control - Sounds Above The Horizon This is my reconstruction of a theoretical unreleased third Olivia Tremor Control album, created by using tracks from The Sunshine Fix and Circulatory System. Jimi Hendrix - First Rays of the New Rising Sun Reconstruction of the album he was recording when he died. More accurate than the official Family release (which was terrible). Nirvana - Formaldehyde I posted this in the Nirvana thread in the Music Board. This is sort of the theoretical sequel to Incesticide, a compilation of the best of the non-album tracks, sequenced into a cohesive album. http://www.mediafire.com/?dl6t3ic1yi6dny8 Oasis - Be Here Now (short version) One of my favorites, I took the overly-long Be Here Now album and painstakingly edited out unneeded meters and bars form each song (as needed on a case-by-case basis) to try and edit the over-70-minute album down to under-60-minutes! The result is a MUCH better album. http://www.mediafire.com/?nl25lcjld2tnacf Oasis - It's Good To Be Free My collection of B-sides, an alternative to The Masterplan CD. Yeah, as you can see, I have lots of free time to do geeky shit like this! |

Some nice compilations there. I'd be interested in the Beatles + Hendrix ones. Actually Zwan too.

The Zwan one, I upped the flacs on ZOMB long ago, here's the torrent link: http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/details.php?id=34424 Freeleach right now, and only two seeders; once I"m done mixing some of my band's recordings, I'll seed it too (have to pause all torrents to free up the CPU). |

The Beatles - Get back (soniclovenoize reconstruction)
http://www.mediafire.com/?29lrjfuwqg67ku5 Just finished writing the txt file and making the cover artwork. I honestly listen to this instead of Let It Be, as it has all the best parts of Let It Be, Let It Be Naked and the Get Back bootlegs... all wrapped up into one cohesive album. Jimi Hendrix - First Rays of the New Rising Sun (soniclovenoize reconstruction) http://www.mediafire.com/?4iqnjyzi46srcxa If you don't know about this one, Hendrix had started to make a tracklist for the album before he died, but only sequenced sides A and B, with mere brainstorming for side C. Of course, the official family version is nowhere close to that, and they excluded some key songs. I will say that this one, in doing research and creating my own tracklist, mine was very similar to another guy on the Steve Hoffman forums, varying by like one track. So I should say, credit goes to him too. I didn't write up a long txt file on this one, but I will say I excluded some tracks others *******, because they were just too skeletal and disrupts the sound design Hendrix created with side one, a standard I continues to the other three sides. |

I made a sweet comp once of the studio versions of the Arising tour songs... took the tracks from Machina 2 and the Blue Skies from the FAEOMM Cassette.... sadly the volumes were all off since I didn't know how to make them even. It was much better though of an album than Machina
