Front row would not be idle for taping. anywhere in front of or near the soundboard is best. I'm pretty happy for my sec 203, row CC ticket - 3rd row looking over the pit.

And speaking of which, I scored two pit tickets as well! Got 'em for some friends of mine in Tulsa that are die-hard pumpkins fans from back in day...

No, I think those are the rows directly behind the pit. They're still really good seats though. I'll have to double check the seating chart, though.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's that yellow strip above the GA pit area. You'll be able to look directly down into the pit. They're still amazing seats. You won't have a bunch of heads blocking your view.

Well after the itunes debacle of my presale code never showing up and then getting a presale code and finding out that the pit tickets were already sold out, I managed to get my pit tickets today at 10:01am and I couldn't be happier. I almost caved and bought tix through the presale but decided against that and hoped the ghost of D'arcy would smile upon me and grant me my wish. Alas she did. This will be my 11th time seeing the Pumpkins and I didn't want to start sitting in seats at this stage. I'll see you all in the pit with my purple Starla shirt on! Oh.... FUCK iTunes!!!

this pit person will be getting there as early as possible. I'm about a three hour drive away; luckily my friends going with me are also tr00 fans

so they'll be willing to stand in a line all day long. I don't know what the best time is, but I'm willing to get up and start driving at 4am if that shit is necessary, lol!

i'm too short to settle for being three or four rows back. I don't want to stare at heads and backs through this whole thing. I have to be prepared and get there early. Looks like I'll get to meet a lot of people I've corresponded with (including the famous DAVIN!

1410 NW 19 ST Grand Prairie, TX 75050

It is like 5 minutes away from the venue w/ any major traffic bullshit. I've stayed there a few times when I've gone to see shows and it is very convenient. I booked my room for $39 + tax. And they have high speed internet, which is nice.

Also, Grand Prairie is in a dry county, so bring your own beer if you want to party at the hotel. When I went to see the Pixies there, wy wife and I drove around for an hour looking for a liquor store thinking it would be easy. The county lines are all weird which made it hard to find one. Plus the people we asked for help sucked at giving directions.
