He even said in an interview that there would be more EDM influences on talk sick because he wants to stay relevant and not fall behind. And electronica has evolved and changed since orgy first came out.

Deadsy is really just some spoiled rich kid's attempt at merging Joy Division with Type O and A Flock of Seagulls.

I saw these guys opening up for Pig (Raymond Watts) this summer. Chatted with the band a bit. Ryan was a really nice, down to earth dude and Amir just gave off creepy asshole vibes like he just wanted to get chicks onto the tour bus.

I saw Deadsy open for Papa Roach. It was my first rock concert.

I have never been the same.

I don't appreciate deadsy or orgy

The Birthday Massacre is pretty good tho (and no one else in this board will like it)

My first concert was Papa Roach on the same bill as Linkin Park, Mudvayne and Disturbed. Beat that, friend-o.

Never saw Orgy or Deadsy, BUT I did see Static-X once. That was kinda neat.

Yeah, I still like this track.

I used to like the track Stitches too but I went to revisit it awhile back and it actually really sucks.

Lol seriously? What was the appeal man?

They were always one of the nu-metal bands that I thought were lame as hell.

Now that we're going down this rabbit hole though, Does anyone remember Adema? The lead singer is Jonathan Davis' brother... Say what you guys will about nu-metal, those guys always had a strong sense of unity and helped out their buds.

This song rocks. Not that I listen to it actively or even have it on my I-pod or anything, but it's a good jam and video.

I really like Les Discrets. Fursey draws pictures for his songs and when he composes he judges the worth of what he is creating by the mental images evoked.

Dude is senescent.

Sevendust had a certain quality to them that those other bands didn't have. Strong melodies, good song-writing and an unparalleled live show. They're also super-nice, hard-working guys which meant I gave them a pass long after my interest in the genre had faded. I'm not as into them as I was back in the day, but I still spin those first four records from time to time. Their self-titled debit has a really great, raw flavor. If you're ever in the mood, I suggest you give it a listen.

Adema sucked shit from day one, though. They were always a joke band, even among nu-metal scenesters such as myself.

Adema's drummer was also in Videodrone. Another of those nu-wave Korn-fed bands. I liked their one album quite a bit in '99.
