one of my faves. mix is just a tad fucked though (Billy said that's why he left it off SD)

Yeah, but the SD promo cassette has a different mix where the distortion doesn't completely fuck over the vocals which in my opinion is better than the released version on the single/Pisces.

after giving it a listen: the overwhelming fuzz going into the bridge is just amazing. mixing technique be damned!

Pfft. I like distortion as much as the next person, but in my opinion it shouldn't drown out the vocals. However, in this case I do like the released version of Kitty Kat. Just wish it could be both ways. Hell, I bet it was Billy's idea to mix it that way in the first place after leaving it off SD.

Not to be totally cliché, but THAT IS JUST YOUR OPINION. I am a massive fan of drowned out vocals.

i love how SP fans don't even know what the sound is built on, like it occured in some kind of vacuum

I nearly love that as much as I love pumpkins fans who still don't think SP was pop, like they're some kind of weird underground band. I mean I guess the young fans would think this but ffs

as far as the UK is concerned they never had a hit single, so they are not exactly regarded as pop over here. i think tonight tonight was the only top-ten charting.

Blur was never big over here, are you going to tell me that doesn't make them an enormous pop band?
