Sometimes those Clicksor ads appear randomly even when I'm using Adblock (on Chrome).

Adblock for Firefox works much better. It sucks that Firefox is a memory hog on my machine

firefox is a mem hog on all machines, they fucked it up at some point, added too many features and plug ins and it got to be an unwieldy program and it fell out of favor

i think chrome is going to be here to stay, in fact i won't be surprised if google eventually launches an operating system

i just block all ad providers with a custom hosts file. netphoria has never bothered me and in fact when i check from another computer i'm baffled by how anyone can use this board at all.

Last year when i first set up Firefox on my new mac I had a hell of a time with it. I had to uninstall and reinstall it to get everything running smoothly. It was a pain in the ass.

last month i also caught some nasty malware with my PC in here (no ad block on that machine). I inadvertently clicked on an ad and it fucked up my machine pretty bad. I ended up having to reload windows to get rid of it.

Yep. It's amazingly elegant in that you absolutely do not notice it at all, it's as if those parts of the internet just plain don't exist. System wide, works with every browser and every app.
