This would have been the best, but since Melissa is not available, I would have preferred to see Katie Cole on bass. However, she's recording an album and probably wants to promote it this summer. It looks like its Jack "fourth option" Bates for us.

I have no problem with Shroeder. Sure, he was around for the shittiest output of Corgan's career. But that's the thing: it was always Corgan's output.

Shroeder shouldn't be implicated in that, IMO.

Also funny that Corgan called Fiorentino the best bassist he's ever worked with, but nobody has talked about bringing her back. Even when he announced he let her go, he mentioned not foreseeing that she would ever want to come back, despite claiming that they parted on good terms and are still friends.

I think the bridge between Corgan and Byrne/Fiorentino is probably a heap of ashes at the bottom of a river by now... it'll probably be another decade before they are free to speak to the press about what being Corgan's employees was like, and it probably won't be as peachy as all parties involved are making it out to be right now.

Nicole looks 100x more like a member of SP without makeup than she did when she was actually in the band.

She'd be better than Jack Bates. No Reverend bass though please.

Nicole and Mike seemed pretty close; I couldn't imagine either of them wanting to hang around with Lord Billy and Yes Man once the other had gone (in the unlikely event that they were given a choice.). Shame, as Nicole would have been a really good fit in the "classic" lineup. Would have loved to have seen her play with Jimmy.
