Man, I know. I just like it a lot. It has Zero single vibes to it, imo. Also, I'm sure I'm forgetting SOMETHING. I think I've only listened to Oceania all the way through once or twice.

That's actually what spurred this list on. Was listening to this version last night and reliving one of those shows for a second and got to thinking about how dang good it is. #2 for me behind Stellar. Noticed in the liner notes that it was recorded/mixed on it's own, away from the rest of the tracks. He must have written the album, then Archer happened and he too realized it was quality stuff and decided to not sit on it.

In revisiting my list, I think I would switch out Inkless for Violet Rays. It's my favorite Oceania track.

*shrugs* sure, man. Still pretty good compared to what he made in the last 15 years. MUCH better than MTAE, not as good as Oceania. Right there in the middle.

Could've been much better though, it had great potential. I liked the live version of The Spaniards much more than the studio version.

it's boring imo, but it's pretty short compared to some of his other work, if you feel compelled to listen. hope you don't want distortion or drums or anything!

Uhh..

Neverlost
Lonely is the Name
Stellar
Gossamer
Oceania
Violet Rays

Modern Corgan sucks at making the "rock 'n' roll" songs and they all sound like Christian dadrock, but he can still turn out one of those kinda dialed-back mellow somber songs every now and then. He should focus on those.

He could still kinda do the heavy stuff in 2007 and 2008, but the production kinda killed those songs in studio.

I'm guessing "post-2007, inclusive." Like, "anything released after midnight of 1 January 2007."

Of course, it could be "post-2007, exclusive," as in "anything released after 11:59:59.99999999999999 on 31 December, 2007."

lotta people pointing out that we've been posting '07 songs in here, but i figured from the first post that Rasko had just fucked up with the thread title, being that even he put a song from the Zeit sessions on his list

I think it's safe to say the majority of people who know of it consider Stellar to be one of the strongest, if not the strongest SP2 song so it totally baffles me that it wasn't even on the original version of Zeitgeist. Did Billy not know how good the song was or what?

Also:

Stellar
Ma Belle
Pinwheels
Oceania
Lightning Strikes
