I think I had terrorbird or heartbeeps and found it to be unlistenably spazzy (of course that was a few years ago before my mind was developed) but the new album is alot more cohesive. It reminds me of and punkier version of menomena.

well, this is an outtakes album, but to answer your question, not really. they've kinda fallen into the same place the pumpkins have for me - the (new) songs will never be as good as the old ones, but it's listenable.

yeah, I always thought (the new version of) Big Shot had hella potential besides a spot on a Viva La Bam compilation.

i'm listening to The Dodos - Visiter and although it sounds like a total animal collective ripoff at certain points, it sounds very promising

seriously, i don't get the hype. another group of nonthreatening, skinny white boys playing downtempo pop songs. yeah, that's just what the world needs right now.
