What kind of demographic is there for this? Who honestly gives a shit about behind the scenes wrestling stuff? How will this not fail? It just seems like a passion project that doesn't necessarily have a market.

When nobody watches this, he'll go on a rant about how the TV industry has changed and "Nobody watches TV shows anymore. They'll just flip on their TV and move from channel to channel, 2 minutes at a time." Then, he'll create a new-fangled idea for a TV show that he'll market in a "groundbreaking" way, which essentially just means he'll put 2 minute clips on YouTube. When nobody watches that, he'll try to create a pay-per-view series of episodes, with more interactive content depending on what the watcher is willing to pay. Nothing will ever come of it, and then he'll admit 4 years down the line that it "wasn't the right time for people to be exposed to that." or some other round-about nonsense.

the local wrastlin' scene in Chicago is kinda fun. I was at the gig last year and was surprised how fun it was.
I can see what billy means about it having a rock n roll spirit. |
