So his Ł200 quid signature albums are selling, I'm genuinely shocked by this.

maybe im just a peculiar and eccentric minority... but i actually really enjoy AEGEA, way the fuck more than oceania or monuments or any of this other questionable trash he's been releasing. I regret not buying the vinyl. But seriously... for blowing people's minds, especially while tripping on mushrooms or lsd, the album as a "soundtrack" to a muted planet earth documentary... just... woah... it's incredible. HOWEVER... when the acid trip is over all your left with is this shitty tea house acoustic cover gig version of BiCorg

AEGEA is pretty much the only thing he has done that has interested me at all in probably about a decade now.

I have no problem with the concept of Sidhartha. I don't fault him at all for trying something. It was however a totally failed experiment and should not be released. I could see maybe if it was part of a natural progression of synth projects he did maybe putting it out, but like everything else he abandoned this little obsession too quickly and this seems like barrel scrapings to me.

So they are forcing you to pay a markup for a shitty synth that they are simply forcing into this package with nothing unique about it.

They probably bought cases of these things thinking they would sell them in the tea shop and now just want to get rid of them.

Not a fan of having to buy stupid extraneous shit to get a record.

"How can we justify making people pay $500 for this 5-LP set of bleep-bloops?"

"Find the cheapest synth you can find and ******* it in each package."

"We're still overcharging by hundreds of dollars. People will figure this out."

*looks at hat* "Throw one of these in each one too."

They're including a cheap synth so you can recreate the experience at home, or just jam along with the records.

I have one of those stylophones. It is $21 and crackly. Fitting for this hustle.

Wait until Universal sees the demand for these. They will kick themselves for ever shelving the Machina reissue.

If we all chip in, we can buy Billy one of these for Christmas so he has something to store the records in.
C'mon, it's the least we can do.

Flashbacks to standing outside Hard Rock Live waiting to see Zwan and tourist keep wandering by asking me what band was playing. At one point Matt and Paz were standing right behind as I was trying to explain it to someone. I always thought they must have felt like shit hearing "Billy Corgans new band, you know the Smashing Pumpkins guy." endlessly.

Still so odd that there's no price. So, what do we think this will run for? $200?
