Default Vieuphoria 2 - was this ever attempted?

This morning I was listening to the rather excellent Earphoria 2, and wondered had anyone made their own follow up to the Initial SP video release?

Are there any key video performances that would go on it?

here is the Earphoria 2 tracklist:

The Smashing Pumpkins
Earphoria 2

Tracks:
01. Pale Scales
02. Zero
03. Dross
04. Tonight, Tonight
05. Let Me Give The World To You
06. Try, Try, Try
07. Blissed and Gone
08. Bullet With Butterfly Wings
09. Everlasting Gaze
10. Heavy Metal Machine
11. Ava Adore
12. 1979
13. Muzzle
14. Stand Inside Your Love
15. For Martha
16. If There Is A God

more info here: http://****tracker.the-****.com/details.php?id=2662

I guess I will start pulling some of my favourite vids together and make a dvd.

Fuck yes, Vieuphoria 2 was attempted and made LONG ago. VHS videos were made and distributed by a guy named Peter Thornton, and it doesn't have the above posted crappy tracklist. I wish I knew where my copy is now. All I have is the case.

Yep. Maybe later on I could scan the artwork to inspire someone to do a DVD transfer. As I remember the quality wasn't all that great because the video clips went through several generations of copies before they got to the finished product. Still though, there's footage on there that is listed as unsurfaced at SPLRA.org that would be good to see again. Bill Mayer to thread?

I remember reading about that sometime last year, but never heard about it again. Good to hear someone actually has a copy. It'd be great to see it!

I'd have suggested the Musique Plus performance of HMM, which is pretty cool.

this is the tracklist my copy has, which differs slightly from Elvis'. It has Zero on it.

Tonight, Tonight - 09/04/1996
Zero - 01/27/96
Where Boys Fear to Tread - 01/30/96
Drown - 12/16/96
In the Arms of Sleep - 01/03/96
Rocket - 02/07/96
Muzzle - 10/25/96
Siva - 09/22/96
Bullet With Butterfly Wings - 06/27/97
Thru the Eyes of Ruby - 05/15/96
Thirty-Three - 01/02/96
Galapagos - 12/07/96
Bodies - 07/05/96
Porcelina/Beautiful/Rocket - 07/10/96
X.Y.U. - 04/07/96
1979 - 10/05/96
The Aeroplane Flies High - 12/14/96
Silverfuck medley - 05/15/96 + 09/14/96 + 12/16/96
Farewell and Goodnight - 02/07/96

also, the case to mine is not a slip case. its a pastic snap case, with an orange and red folder-over cover. just like many other bootleg videos had back in the day.

Oh, are we going to add fan-made bootlegs to the bootlist now?

well, i bought mine at a music store called Record Breakers and it was being sold with all the other bootlegs. i figured i would add it because multiple peeps have asked, and to be helpful to the noobs.

you think i should remove it? i'm open to that argument....though videos aren't directly addressed its the same concept as the quote you posted about cd-r's.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

dunno. i don't really care. and as long as it says "fan-made", as it does right now, i guess it can't be a problem to anyone.

it just seemed a bit in conflict with that "no fan-made" text on there.

Thaaaaaanks.

So, without looking up each date individually...are these performances mostly proshot or are they equally mixed with aud tapings, as well?

I've got a copy too! Mine starts out with the VMA tonight tonight BTW. ARtwork is just computer print outs taped/glued to a regular vhs cardstock case. Got it from the source when I was in 9th or 10th grade...

anyway I'll scan the back and have it up in a jiffy...
