Default Battery pack for Edirol R-09

So the R-09 eats up my batteries in less than two hours. In an effort to record full shows, I'd like to get a battery box. On archive I see a lot of Nbox+, but I can't find anything on Google.

Any suggestions?

You should be getting more than 2 hours out of your batteries. I think about 8 - 10 hours? I've never ran mine right down.
Are you using rechargables? That could be the problem.
The NBox is not used to power the R-09 and you shouldn't need a battery pack for the R-09

i use duracell in mine, works great.
i have recorded for 2 hours on it then listened to the show on the ride home on the same batteries. i always put fresh ones in for each taping (even at the same show, as long as the batteries are at least 2 hours old that is).

Shitty batteries will greatly reduce the recording time even if they're not rechargables. You'd be surprised at the difference. I remember back in my MD days, when I'd get 2+ hours from a normal battery, I bought some off-brand australian batteries and only got 30 minutes from each. Which resulted in me only recording half of a song that Beck only played once on his entire tour. Sigh. The lesson: shitty batteries suck.

I am using 2600 mAh NiMH Sanyo rechargeable batteries. They last for well over 10 hours.

I suggest you invest in lithium batteries. Sure, they're expensive, but you definitely won't have to worry about the batteries going dead on you.
