Default Worst lyrics you've ever heard thread

Finally watched Some Kinda Monster so I had to put St. Anger on to see if it was still the steaming pile of awful chunky vomit I'd remembered.

On the titular track, I was dumbstruck to hear Jims Hatfield bark this abomination: "I'm madly in anger with you." I had forgotten this line.

Where to even begin? It's sickeningly cute where it wants to be clever, it expresses nothing new or interesting, it's embarrassing to even think about let alone fucken sing over and over and over, it's emotionally black and white and thus boring af

Is it the most offensive lyric ever uttered? Let's find out together. Share your faves/tips!

The worst thing?

4:3 aspect ratio! Is it really that old?

IIRC, the DVD is normal widescreen. I dunno. Ex-wife had the DVD.

Like imagine you would be in a band and decide that is what you're going to show your audience. Amazing through and through, 10/10, would watch again

completely agree

i'm still kinda shocked they put it out. especially considering how big their egos are. how come they allowed this? anyway it's probably the most visceral, brutally honest look at what it's like being in a once-famous 'biggest band in the world'

wish there were more of these

I kind of understand where they were going with it. Nu-metal was still a thing and garage rock was all the rage. It was their way of merging the two. It's a hideous, unlistenable abortion, but it makes sense given the context and lack of self-awareness they possessed at the time.

Documentary is great though. Glad others agree.

i find it amazing that what bothers you about that song is that lyric, and not Kirk's "U FLUSH IT OUT" backing vocals

to be fair it's a fierce competition

Oh shit that's lead guitarist Kurt Omelette? I thought it was an overdub of singer/guitarist Jims Hatfield

But yeah that part sux mightily too

Worst part of this whole experience is I've been unable to get the song unstuck from my head for the last week or so; I've tried everything, even traditional turkish music, to cleans the musical brain palate, but no, it's "sayuhnt aynguh round my niiieck" 24 fucken 7 fucken kill me now pls

A black day dawn at horizon
Where winter hearts our battlefields

The ultimate frost age desire
Oh snowflurry drifts these plains

Since the blast of primaries
We've conquered against the storm

Throning with will
And the sound of battle never ends

Tragedies blows at horizon
We ride as one
Tragedies blows at horizon
Our battle rages on

Tragedies blows at horizon
We ride as one
Tragedies blows at horizon
Our battle rages on

Thundering columns of fire
Majestic against the breeze

Gleaming my sceptre at hand
The wind altogether silent

Frozen of heart
Awaken from a time and risen

By the dying evening breeze
The sound of battle never ends

Tragedies blows at horizon
We ride as one
Tragedies blows at horizon
Our battle rages on

Tragedies blows at horizon
We ride as one
Tragedies blows at horizon
Our battle rages on

And the key to all this is to realize that Abbath pronouces sceptre as "sKeptre" LOL WAT

I’mma make you my bitch / Cake, cake, cake, cake / Cake, cake, cake, cake / Cake, cake, cake, cake / Cake, cake, cake.

Lightning crashes, a new mother cries / Her placenta falls to the floor.

Now you get to watch her leave out the window / Guess that’s why they call it window pane.

Almost everything by Kanye

Lots of Placebo lyrics are terrible.

There's a lot of bad word strings out there.

to be honest metallica are kinda responsible for some of the worst rock lyrics of all time

"WE'RE SO FUCKED
SHIT OUTTA LUCK
HARD WIRED TO SELF DESTRUCT"

it would perhaps be acceptable from a 19 year old making his break but like, a 50 year old guy? lol
