Great album

my favorite track, which now that I hear it again, has a kinds of Pumpkins guitar vibe

That song is how I've been feeling...melancholic.

I wouldn't say "better than" - I just enjoy it more, Supergrass never really clicked for me, besides a song here and there, so this album took me by surprise.

I have the four? Supergrass albums up to Life on other planets, saw them on the 2010 tour, but haven't listened to an album in a decade.
I did miss out on something, didn't I.

Anyway, I might have missed Matador without you mentioning it here, am I glad I didn't! Here Come The Bombs is on the vinyl shopping list, I need more.

here comes the bombs seems like it'd be more in line with the early-ish/mid-period supergrass work,

if you liked matador though i heartily recommend you check out sg's 2005-ish album (after life on other planets) Road to Rouen

found it in a storage box in the basement:

5 Years of Music from The Wire

this is better than Christmas, the album has dialogue snippets, too!
