I should be coming to the Auditorium shows if I can get tickets. Using my girlfriend's AMEX card now though so I damn well hope they don't be dicks about picking the tickets up.

well it's set in stone that I'll be there for the first show with a backstage pass (chicago theatre). Now I have to buy a ticket for the second night, or rather come up with the money for it.

I'm planning on doing the AMEX giftcard thingy...does it make you pay with the card as well? Or just verify that you have one?

Auditorium shows are listed. Presale this Monday...doesn't mention American Express. Who's got the password?

When you click on More Info it shows it along the right side.

Found my answer...looks like I'll be getting a ~$150 AMEX gift card for tomorrow

So I guess I'll be waiting to get the two-day pass...I have an AMEX card but it since I want to go to both nights of the Auditorium it seems like it will be best to wait. Unless the two-day passes are a joke? Do you get the same seat each night?

Same with DC, the two day pass cost exactly the same as buying 2 separate 1 day tickets. There was absolutely no discount. Only advantage was you would be sitting in the same seat both nights.

whoooooa, davin. off my balls. off.

i'm not "buying" into any "bullshit." i read the article, and it really put me off. there was just something about the interview that really made me feel that he thinks he is truly above it it all now. which i guess isn't much different than how he's ever acted, but there is such a hollowness to what he's been cranking out now that it's not justified in my mind anymore.

for a band that used to produce such emotional music that i have personally revered for over a decade and a half, i find it interesting that you want me to separate it from the person who created it. this person is now making a different kind of music that i find to be subpar, only to the standard he set for himself during the climb to the mountainpeak of his career.

don't get all huffy with me just because i'm not licking corgan's shaft anymore.

So the quoted prices on Ticketmaster were incorrect? They're sold out now but the prices listed still say $49 for one night, $53 for two nights (at the cheapest). Was it actually $106 for the cheapest two night pass?

They were incorrect. The cheapest seats for NY were $49, and the cheapest 2-day passes were $98. It listed the 2 day passes as starting at $53. It even listed that up to and during the on sale. The only place that listed the $98 price was the drop down menu when you actually went to buy the tickets.

It's pretty deceptive and certainly not as good of a deal. I still think I'm going to do it though because I was probably just going to get the cheapest seats anyway, and this is slightly less to deal with. I haven't made up my mind on that though.

Friday night - row E
Saturday night row T.

Funny thing about Saturday night's tix. According to the auditorium theater website, there are no seats numbered in the 500's in Row T. Something's not right...

I had those row G tickets, but on reflection I'm just going to wait for the two-day passes. I'm not looking for a better deal, I'd just prefer to have the same seats each night. And also, it seems like the pit tickets weren't accessible for people doing the presale (at least in my experience) so maybe two-day passes can get a shot at those?

Someone please tell me there WILL be a more expensive two-day pass that will place its holders in the orchestra/pit of the auditorium. I'm getting annoyed that there isn't too much clarity on the price of the two-day passes and where once can hope to be seated with them.

Really hoping I don't have un-buyer's remorse about this...

Just purchased my 4star for Friday and 5star for Saturday at the Auditorium... damn, I hope my seats are just as good or better than those who just bought the concert ticket. You guys got some sweeeeeeeet seats. Of coarse, I have to wait until I show up each night before I know where I'm sitting. Uggghh The Suspense!! See You All At The Show!!

Looking at other seating charts, it appears that there is a 500's section to the far left. I'll take it, especially since I'm in row E on Friday!

Intriguing. I don't see how there could be one! Regardless, I couldn't be happier with my tickets. Wow. Probably my best ticket buying catch ever!

Time to buy plane tickets.

Yes, there were different price levels for the New York show. The highest one was $178 I think.
