Hey, I'm all for this show being the first of the August dates. Going in without ANY clues as to what they are gonna play and get totally blown away. I can't wait. This is gonna be kick ass, hope I get some nice seats.

Still deciding whether I should go to this one...if I knew if it was the first show of the tour for sure that would make it a lot easier. Nice drive from Chicago, but that's not a problem.

they DO NOT go on sale on FRIDAY. They go on sale on SATURDAY

Sat, 07/19/08 10:00 AM CDT

the o-site was wrong about all 4 dates they posted and they are still wrong about the day what tickets go on sale.

IA & NC tickets go on sale this weekend..

no one knows when KY & FL tickets go on sales as of yet it seems (since we can't trust the o-site)

there has to be something up someone's sleeve as to why a date was announced, it sold for a week and then a preceding date was added...

it doesn't make sense unless some sort of trickery at hand

Bands do this all the time. SP even did it last year. The real funny business is $83 vs $38, which I'm not sure can be entirely explained by supply and demand and proximity to big cities.

I wanna goooo so bad! But I work the day tickets go on sale from 7:30am-5:30pm.

this is TERRIBLE!

Maybe... I could get a family member to give it a shot. I can handle not having awesome seats, but maaaaan it's be nice to be close (durrr). I just want to go in general.

Oh hehehehehe I thought after the first show I wouldn't get all giddy and giggly anymore when they come closeby again, but I can hardly control myself right now

If you haven't figured out "feminine problems" out at your job by now... Considering that you are younger, I'm going to assume your job is shitty anyway.

I work at a horse park, and we're understaffed, and I freaking love my job. So nerrrrr.

But I'll keep that in mind for the future.

Turns out I probably won't be able to make this one anyway. Whole family works, and there's a wedding my sister is in the following day. Don't want to drive there by myself. Don't have any friends who would want to go with me.

Soooooo I'll wait for them to come again I guess. I'm more interested in the Gish tour anyhow, and I dunno how far I can push my luck with asking for rides from my dad.

I'm such a child.

And it's not like any of these dates haven't been confirmed for a while. It's the middle of the freaking summer for crying out loud. It just kinda feels like a hose job:

To set up a (seemingly) really big show (location, cost); let it sell for a week, and then decide to sort of wet blanket the original, opening show w/ others that are cheaper and also at equally awesome venues. And have one of those shows be before the original.

I'm just hoping that whatever they have planned is so amazing they need a warm-up gig. This one.

"1-800-WAGH."

I'm really not mad. I'm just so confused as to why? What's really going on?
