Billy says “c’mon sing it” and “one more time” before the chorus of BWBW, Today etc.

I think the Houston and Dallas shows will be a good time

in the spirit of the thread... D'arcy shows up drunk to one of the shows and makes a social media splash.... maybe talking/posing with fans in line haha

Katie Cole WILL die from bruises at her inner organs! After battlings with her B3 organ...

Jimmy Flemion will give a fuck on his Facebook friendship with Fey Wutt/D'arcy Wretzky to follow his older brother's legacy to become a replacement-tour keyboarder at the Pumpkins.

Tour doesn't sell, Billy bitches about how he feels underappreciated and tells the fans to fuck themselves.

Surprises: jam (like the 96 and 97 silverfucks from the mcis tour), tafh b-side
Encores: 1979, Disarm

Billy brings back the dynamic timpani for the encore.

After a few lackluster shows to disinterested, relatively small crowds..

..Billy will announce the.. i dunno.. "Sounds like Starlite" tour-within-a-tour which showcases music from the Pumpkins entire career and gives fans the "Full Pumpkins Experience". because that must be what fans want..surely?

They play a few more shows to small crowds that shout "PLAY RAT IN A CAGE" the whole time, even when they are playing rat in a cage before Billy announces the "RAT IN A CAGE 2018" tour-within-a-tour-within-a-tour during an impromptu interview which is cut short by the "interviewer" informing Billy that "Sir, this is a McDonalds drive-thru"

- that parts of the ranks won't be filled won't be noticeable besides a few pics on instagram from concert goes

- stage dynamic/presence/who actually is on stage won't play a big factor thanks to the massive screen and light distraction

- Bully will thank the crowds in true "legacy act" fashion and will emphasise the success of this tour any chance he gets

- strawdingle and katie cole will comply with their obligations of "female facet" and post on instagram daily

- US critics will be polite

- merch will be as ugly as ever, and people will buy it

- there will be a gem or 2 as encore when the screen timing doesn't matter

This one seems like a lock... please god no.

Other blue chip predictions:

- Stage banter addressing crowd will contain some snarky comment about the turnout, or state of music industry.
- The note on the chorus of "Tonight Tonight" is never hit.
- Any guest appearances will be forced, and lame as hell.

Live Nation will force Billy, James, and Jimmy to do lame radio and television plugs to promote the show in cities with particularly poor ticket sales. Matt Walker and/or Jimmy Flemion will show up to play in at least one show.

Josh Bates and Jeff Yoshinobu Schroeder will cover a total of one square meter onstage between them for the entirety of the tour.

The prediction that is 100% guaranteed:

No matter how good or bad the shows are, people here will bitch.

Now for some real predictions:

NYC will sellout right before the show. Maybe Mohegan Sun too because it's a small arena and there is like 500 tickets left at the moment.

A couple shows will have the upper decks closed. Salt Lake and Louisville almost for sure.

Most shows will average about 10,000 in attendance at an average of 100 a ticket. That's 1 million in gross revenue a show.

The setlist will be strong and the light show will be something reminiscent of TSO.

Billy's vocals will be the weakest link.

Shows will be identical except for the encores.

Billy will bring his son on stage to a few featured shows like Chicago, LA and maybe that 30th anniversary thing.

You obviously missed the earth shattering Jimmy Fallon performance of the new hit single SOLARA. What is there to bitch about?

-Shows will get some favorable attention in the press
-New EPs get a lukewarm response and impress nobody
-Band decides it's worth it to trot the beast out every few years, sure, why not

This tour is based on the old songs. So what if they play 1 new song as a promotional tool that they are still making music.

Any and all opening acts will be awful as fuck. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring "Celebration" back. For those of you who are unfamiliar, that band features a lead singer who bangs on a bongo drum with a maraca while she screeches incoherently.

Even if the show is going great and people are into it, Billy will look miserable the whole time and will probably make some comment about how unhappy he is.

James will look bored as hell and will probably fall of the stage because D'Arcy isn't there to catch him.

Jeff will look like a fucking dork.

Casual (and drunk) fans who haven't been following the drama closely will boo Jack Bates and start screaming: "FUCK THIS ASSHOLE, WHERE'S THE HOT BLONDE CHICK?"

Isn't the opener for the entire tour Metric? They're pretty good. Definitely an established act vs Celebration.

They will play a standard set of the hits with a couple of album tracks like Porcelina and Ruby and the set will never deviate. Cherub Rock and/or 1979 in the encore

Luckily that song is the zenith of Pumpkins influence - music from a place so pure it burned the lies off the very souls of those who tried to discount it.

The tour will produce a DVD/digital download of the best performances of each song from different shows.

- They will play mostly hits, which are the songs most of the people going to see them want to hear.
- The setlist will be over two hours long and around 26 songs
- Most of the people who go to the shows will enjoy themselves and be glad they went.
- The band will make plenty of the money and the shows will/are selling well. You don't have to sell out a venue to have a successful tour.
- The EP won' t be any good and will be forgotten shortly after its released.
- They will release a full length album in 2020 and tour again.
- People on here will continue to cry
