I've had these since they were released and can't believe I never realized who the members were. Obviously I just forgot about 'em and never put it together.

I'm not much of a Sunn fan but in hindsight its easy to see how this is O'Malley's more noise/punk version of that vein of metal.

Sweet. Do tell.

I slept for a month in the same bed as my bi friend. One night he had his gay fuckbuddy over who proceeded to plant his foot on my inner thigh.

I spent that night on the floor.

Put on Jerusalem the other day while vacuuming. The gray, undulating sheets of drone from the vacuum murmured and mingled together with the lower, slower rumbling from the speakers in truly transportive fashion. Once the drums hit I was gone to the stony age of sabre-toothed tigers, when men were but beasts and beasts were kings

Then I played this

I shuffled albums on my iPod (yes, I still use an iPod, wanna fight?) after I got home from work tonight and got Pantera's Cowboys From Hell, followed by Tool's Opiate and then Alice In Chains' MTV Unplugged.

What a rush of brilliant nostalgia.

That album is pretty much the only other Pantera album aside from CFH that I can stomach these days. Background vox from Seth Putnam of Anal Cunt all over that song/album.

Reeeeally loving this one currently. It's like Jeff magnum and Will Oldham merged into a sad cynical British woman. Really beautiful and powerful stuff. Never really dug her older stuff.
