yep that's me..got some questions...
(by the way i have a D7) 1. is there anyway to lower the lcd light so it doesn't blind me 2. on record mode..which one do i do..manual or music 3. if i go line in do i need to play with the mic senstivity? 4. where can i buy a tos link without spending 90 |

I'll add to brandon's post. The mic hi/low setting only works for mic in. It makes no difference line in. That being said, always have it in the low setting. You will -never- ever need it to be in the high position unless you're recording something like a lecture.
As far as digital cables are concerned, save your money and buy a good one. Those core-sound ones are crap. The pins bend and are too large for the holes in the 7pin input. They'll damage the 7pin input on a dat deck. Get a cable with a sony 7pin head with the shield. pzane |
