Is anyone familiar with the rapper, Cage?

Used to like some of his stuff (not the early songs, really, more 'Hell's Winter' and such). I suppose he's quite dark.

Most people who know him know him off the back of Eminem mentioning him early in his career, esp. the line "I bought Cage's tape, opened it and dubbed over it..."

Hell's Winter is a fantastic album. I'm not too fond of his more recent stuff though.

I went through a phase of ploughing that album for a while when I was just hoovering up every detail of El-P production i could fit in my ears. He has some moments where his flow is kinda impressive but the whole thing is painfully emo and some of the more club/porno stuff is just fuckin duuuuumb. Also don't have fucking Daryl Palumbo on your album dude, christ.

TLDR Cage sucks, El-P does not, next thread.
