Does this do a good job of explaining your position on transgenderism? |

I thought her position is more of gender deconstructionism than psychological and biological identity, or social position.

Basically by one man saying he is a woman, it embraced the notion that gender is a real thing, a state of mind or being, whereas she felt like that's nonsense and femininity is a cultural tradition or social construct. At least that's how I thought she saw it.

From the standpoint I described, one would say gender signs on bathrooms further segregate people, and stand to highlight the differences between men and women. And it might enforce rape culture by keeping women protected from men because women and transpeople could be attacked by men and by keeping men separate we accept that possibility as just an inevitability.

Rather than men just not thinking it's okay to sexually harass people, we just stick them in different bathrooms.

Men's rooms generally have changing stations wherever women's do. Here, anyway.
Best option is single stall rooms. But that would be inconvenient and expensive in lots of places. |

How many men have a urinal in their home? Its not a requirement for a bathroom that is used by people that happen to have a penis.

And honestly it fucking sucks having zero privacy to relieve yourself because the one stall is occupied.

a friend of mine built a house recently. He built a "man cave" on the basement floor with a bar, beer taps, and a bathroom with a urinal. It was the first time I'd seen one in a house.

Well, is there only one bathroom in their whole house? Because if so, that's brilliant. If not, it's awesome.

At this point I am only on board with pieces of radical feminist ideas. I am sure none of the people mentioned in this article would be into someone like me calling myself a radical feminist. So I guess the answer for me personally is no?
