@Labelle

Exorcist II is bad (though I didn't hate it as much as you) but don't sleep on Exorcist III. It's a flawed movie but has some genuinely scary and effective stuff going on. There's one scene in particular that makes me just about jump out of my skin every time, and I'm a seasoned lifelong horror fan.

I mean, maybe, but I've never seen Excalibur so I don't know how that could be.

Aeon Flux - 6/10

Because I had next to no expectations and don't remember much of anything from the cartoon, I quite enjoyed this. I've fallen asleep to much, much worse.

Final Destination 2 - 7/10

Still (mostly) fun, but shit hasn't aged so well.

The Italian Job (1969) - 8/10

Cheeky AF. Ends on a literal cliffhanger and has one of the most persistently annoying theme songs. It's like a more innocent (and much older, duh) Fast & Furious movie.

North by Northwest - 10/10

I needed this in my life. Slowly filling in those Hitchcock blindspots.

Eye in the Labyrinth - 8/10

Stylish yet simple giallo that actually surprised me with its ending.

It is next in my list, will report back!

2 biggest flaw was just how boring it was to me, almost nothing happens, and when it does it's real silly (house exploding and stuff).

Tho we did get this scene where regular Regan and possessed Regan fondle a therapist

Which got a chuckle out of me.

The Love Witch - 8/10

Atmosphere, cinematography and acting was all pitch perfect. But it shouldn't have been two hours long. Cut this thing down to 90 minutes and you've got a 10/10.
Both great movies

Hey Scorsese fans you probably skipped this one right? Maybe you never even heard of it?

Well it's fucking fantastic - solid A

Yeah, that scene was pretty great. Linda Blair is always fun to watch. Even seen Hell Night?

It's been a while since I've watched it, but I seem to recall it was pretty solid but had the unfortunate fate of coming out around the same time as The Sixth Sense.

annihilation which I thought was brutally amazing, psychedelic confusing, terrifying, really imaginative, frustrating and ultimately pretty cool.

The Exorcist III - 3/5
This movie was decent, it had a few creepy moments. But the story is so nonsensical it kinda dragged the movie down a bit.

Faust (2001) - 1/5
I'm still trying to process what the fuck I watched. It's based on a comic book, and it's about a guy who becomes a helldemon after making a pact with the devil... but also it's a body horror extravaganza, someone births a snake through their bellybutton... a woman gets turned into a puddle. Every time the titular character is on screen we hear shitty nu metal too. Just wow.
