Korn is one of those bands that people are really polarized about

you either like em or despise em

hm, sorta like that band from the 90's with the bald dude with the whiny voice

eh

they're more like the kind of band you listen to when you're only starting to discover there is a genre called 'rock', or you don't because you're a grown up

sorry i'm being elithirdeyeblindist

They seem like the perfect band for angsty 13 year olds who have a rough time in school.

Always sounded lame and samey to me.

It's all about the period from when he quit KoRn to when he rejoined. It's an honest truthful tale about how he thought he was gonna do some epic solo project and all this shit and how he fell flat on his face and it's a great read.

FUZZY RECOMMENDED
I read his first book, right around the time I stepped off the Korn train. It detailed the downward spiral that lead to him leaving the band. Tons of juicy dirt about the band's formative and then relevant years (aka the '90s). Twas a good read until the latter half when he was all like "And then Jesus saved me and now I must ramble on about that for the last three chapters."

Pretty sure I never actually finished that book. But I do love a good rock n' roll autobiography that dishes the dirt.

He wasn't alive in 1997. He doesn't know this.

Korn are one of those bands that vote Republican but won't publicly acknowledge it because it would clash with their "loner" vibe.

I think I have more respect for Fred Durst at this point than I do Jonathan Davis, take that to mean what you will.

What artists aside from Kid Rock, Ted Nugent and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir?

I remember in 2004 when Fuel and 3 Doors Down played Dubbya's inauguration party. I was like "Yup, sounds about right."

God, conservatives make the worst art.

I never really got into Korn. A few songs here and there, but I dont own any albums. I dislike most of "nu metal" in general. But a lot of my friends are hardcore Korn fans and its kind of annoying sometimes lol

I like their guitar tones on those early ones. Plus it was pretty special to get to hear the singer break down in sobs at the end of that track about his uncle bill or whoever

My friend who loved em (so annoying, rite Kr55y?) played that song at work and an older mullet who grew up on sabbath and zep was like "bah -- there's no crying in rock n roll!"
