I dunno man, I don't really buy into the idea that being an alchoholic is like having an actual disease. I mean yeah if you drink it every single day for years and years you're not going to be able to quit without professional help because your body relies on it and I guess when it gets to that point it may as well be a disease.

I've just always used it as a crutch to really excel in social situations during outings and band practice and you name it and it worked wonders for a long time, but the magic has turned to shit

I've been thinking if I don't do it at all unless its just 2 or 3 during a special occasion that I should be able to pull it off though. I think the problem lately is that I do a lot of "pre-drinking" and drink alone a lot and that was never the case when I had the most fun with it... But in those days a big reason was just that I couldn't afford it like I can now. And of course being 15,16,17 you can't just waltz into a liquor store, acquiring it was always a little more difficult, and if you did acquire it you were just set with that certain amount, you couldn't just go out for a beer-run.

yarp, I think Quenya developed in Valinor. Then when all those fools came back to Middle-earth they found that the Elves who had been left behind (Sindar, "grey elves" who had never seen the light of the Two Trees) spoke a different dialect, Sindarin, which became the common Elvish, but Quenya remained the proper/liturgical language or what have you. The Doors of Durin were inscribed in Quenya, in the Tengwar alphabet, which was designed by Fëanor, to facilitate the friendship between Moria and Eregion. Eregion was ruled by the great craftsman Celebrimbor, a grandson of Fëanor, and it was in Eregion that Sauron bamboozled the Elves into forging the Rings of Power.
