Yeah. Maybe I was being a bit too generous at 2:30 in the morning last night, but not too much: I really, really like it, and I think it's their best record. If it doesn't crack my top ten, it'll definitely be in my top twenty.

Well, it makes my top 10. I never even downloaded an mp3 before I bought it, I just took the risk and got it, and DAMN am I thankful. The two songs on the bonus disc are very good too.

yeah, i do think it's their best album, but i'm pretty sure there are at least 20 albums i'd put above it from this year. i'm pretty biased against rock music lately though.

You guys are too into your end of the year lists so I want to retract my statement and say that One Beat is an excellent rock record, one that I would recommend to my worst enemy. Your lists are always kinda limited by what you can't check out in a year anyway, even though I know you guys are downloading machines.
