Audience recordings sound 'false' on Live Inside the Dark Globe

Just about every show I have heard with "Where Boys Fear to Tread" has a reaction from the crowd during that break...It's the start of the show! Pumped up crowd!

It's actually LUCKY that there is some audience sounds bleeding in - most soundboard tapes don't even have an audience sound - just the faint roar inbetween songs sounding like the wind or something. Just listen to how distant it sounds on the NY Silverfuck. So distant. That's the reason why you're not going to hear people sing along during hits.

I don't know to what extent the Pumpkins had a room/ambience mic for these recordings. Maybe they did NOT and just added some audience sound from wherever for the release. Or maybe they did decide to leave the audience out in the mix.

Stop Making Sense is overdubbed (like 99% of live albums are to an extent), whereas Live Inside the Dark Globe isn't. Just pointing that out.

You're lame. That intro is bad ass and a perfect way to open up Disc 2 of MCIS. It makes it all the more impactful when the song finally kicks in fully. It's called dynamics.
