The truth is I have concern, and I've seen a little bit of conflicting conversation regarding the husband thing but I didn't know how to approach showing my concern... But ultimately it's none of my business so all I can do is hope for the best.

In complete sincerity though, I am totally amazed and impressed at how you've personally managed to turn things around. It's a daunting task and you've been doing great, I'd hate for you to get caught up in that scene again.

Well just be careful and don't take the sobriety for granted. I've seen too many people get sucked back into that culture because of their significant others.

She mentioned being with her husband recently and I had these red flags fly up in my mind and felt sad. My concern lies with the child. Why must everyone be nicey nice with each other when there's a legitimate concern?

It's not like she doesn't talk about the kid a lot, so why is it such a bad thing to ask? Sure, maybe I followed through with asking her that cause at the time I didn't care if she felt it was insensitive but that doesn't make it malicious.

I have my good days and the bad. I haven't had any major incidents or anything in quite awhile and have stayed away from using any sort of drugs. I'm a little bummed today cause I lost a few hundred on the super bowl... Maybe I should just stay off the forum when I'm pissed off... It never ends well

Motherhood is too important to me to even be a little tempted. Bottom line. A significant other is important, but my child is my responsibility.
