I'm using this time (no job, no band activities, no future, no sun) to bike around the countryside. yesterday and today there's been some actual sun, so it's a nice thing to actually go out of the house, and the city, without the risk of coming too close to other people


these small villages to the north of Amsterdam are what we call in traditional dutch, kankerschattig, meaning very cute

don't worry, my hometown imported an entire village. It's 300 meters above sea level now. It's a tourist nightmare and there's a wooden shoe factory too. It'll be there after Amsterdam is underwater

ahh yes I remember you saying that. holy shit!

we got them here, the hardcore right-wing christians. as in, there's a bunch of villages in our own Bible Belt. but they're kind of the laughing stock. they always have the exact same amount of voters and it always results in two or sometimes three seats in parliament (total: 150 seats)
