That Mike Patton is an arrogant prick...he thinks he's some legit talent, homeboy doesn't know that he's WACK. Dude got his start ripping off Anthony Kiedis.

I've only been to like one show this year. And Goat Rainbow has only played two. Only one I have planned this month is Jamaican Queens on the 18th.

only 2 gigs this month

- Ghostface Killah
- Björk

I'm not sure which one I'm more excited about. Ghostface probably, never seen him before.

many of my friends are head over heels for edward sharpe, its hippy collective folk even tho "magnetic zeros" implies pedals and effects to me but widespread panic isnt like dillunger escape plan or CONVERGE so some ppl cant name their bands properly

stp with fucking chester should be worth a lol or two

damian marley is worth a watch tho

Protomartyr upstaged Cloud Nothings when I saw them last year. I'm jealous of you seeing LB though: would love to see them/him some day.

Cloud Nothings have the distinct pleasure of being the only band that I've started liking less and less after seeing them live. That shit was so boring that I went back and listened to them and realized wait a minute they're not even really that good.

Protomartyr were fucking great.

But, really? I saw Cloud Nothings last fall and I fell in love with them even more. Their drummer alone was one of the best live drummers I recall seeing. Lots of energy and a great sound.

I appear to have bought Sufjan tickets for Edinburgh, Manchester, London x2, Brighton and Bristol. Also, my Spanish holiday in Barcelona and Madrid seem to coincide with tour dates.

Saw Lightning Bolt last night.

I hadn't planned it or even known about it until like 9:30am the day of. I was in a Half Price Books, selling some stuff, and happened to walk around the store, to the back and there was a small ad on the back pin board announcing the show. It was kismet or something.

I had a BLAST - the crowd was fucking insane - and bought their newest LP, but that's the only LB they had. The rest of the merch was Black Pus stuff (so I bought two of his LP's) and weird crafts/DIY hoodies.

Saw trail of dead for a 20th anniversary show last night. I was a little apprehensive because it's Monday and I have to wake up so early but it was definitely worth it.

They always put on a great show and I continue to be astonished at how few people they draw.
