now i kinda want to see the reaction of someone who has never really heard or seen the Pumpkins to watching Vieuphoria and then IAGW back to back
surely a couple handfuls of "What the fuck happened here?" to be had w/ that one |

oh i wouldn't even try to compare them like that, Vieuphoria is one of my favorite band videos of all time - honestly now that i think of it, watching both of them back to back even as a jaded fan would be quite the experience

I've seen IAGW used in half price books so many times and have never been compelled to buy it. That's when I knew my fandom had taken a turn.

It's not really worth watching by itself. It's like an outdated version of 'Billy spends 30 days on the road'. The music is worth listening to, but that means acquiring mp3 rips from wherever you can get them.

I still find it funny that he titled it "If All Goes Wrong." I guess Billy really could see into the future back then.

The second disc is the only reason to buy this DVD's, not the boring documentation.
The Fillmore Residency "The Rose March" "Peace + Love" "99 Floors" "Blue Skies Bring Tears" "Superchrist" "Lucky 13" "Starla" "Death from Above" "The Crying Tree of Mercury" "Winterlong" "Heavy Metal Machine" "Untitled" "No Surrender" "Gossamer" "Zeitgeist" Live from the Floor of the Fillmore "99 Floors" "Peace + Love" "Mama" "No Surrender" "Promise Me" The DVD set made it in 2008 to No. 4 in the Billboard Top Music Video-charts. |
