It's not our place to say it's not good for someone to be here. For all you know he could have very little social contact and use this as a place to speak his mind and escape, play with a different personality for a little bit. Not feel so meaningless.

And yes I'm projecting but I really think it's not our place to judge. If vixnix feels threatened thats a different story, but that's not the case here.

Even if he's banned, he can still browse netphoria through Tor...so that's probably what he'll do.

He was asking for help. And people didn't take him seriously. He realized he wasn't strong willed enough to just leave so he was asking for help with that. Someone should have done it all those months back so he could at least be freed of this place.

While this place may or may not be conducive to one's emotional well being, I highly doubt that it's a large enough factor in anybody's mental condition that not posting here will seriously improve or deteriorate their mental health.

Like, a guy struggling with issues caused by neurological chemical imbalances and the environment during his formative years is going to make the first step toward recovery by closing the Netphoria tab in Firefox?

I don't know....while it wasn't spectacular and nobody but me remembers it, i had a mental meltdown last year after id been back for the initial few months and i quit for like 3 months because the forum was really doing a work on me. Like it contributed to my deteriorating mental issues. I'm glad i did it.

I do think a lot of people here put others down for their own boon, and netphoria enables that, for people of low social status.

While it may not be an object of desire, any of you can gain my respect by showing compassion towards other people when they are down and out. Not piling on them and turning it into a joke.
