my mom got a tattoo a few years ago. her partner had a bunch from like the 1950s and shit. i think some of them were prison tattoos.
i still want to get the serotonin molecule somewhere but i probably never will. so when i'm all depressed for no reason i can look at it and it might make me feel better. but im not sure how i'd do it |

those also look like they are over old cut marks. which is what i'd want to do as well, except i dont think it'd be a good idea, professionally, to have them on my wrist. i have some cuts further up near my elbow though. they are also a bit deeper and the skin is thinner, almost like stretch marks. or as b0lly would put it, pink ribbon scars. not sure how well you could tattoo on them.

Returning to the topic of tattoos and Monkey, this image covers 65% of my back.

I just realized that I also mentioned getting the Saturn tattoo back when I first started this thread. I think I've entertained it long enough without deciding against it that I probably would not regret getting it at this point.
The same cannot be said of the SP heart. I was contemplating starting a new thread and not reviving this one so that nobody would remember that I ever once considered the SP logo, but I decided that I should just be honest about my checkered past. Pretty much all the tattoos I want have a celestial theme. I also want those old-timey woodcut sun and moon with faces on them. And another astronomical design on my back. Other than that, I want a timepiece, probably a pocket watch (or maybe a clock). I dunno, I think about time a lot. Both in the scientific sense (relativity blows my mind, and I often contemplate the asymmetry of time and why entropy only increases in one direction, while space is isotropic), and in a personal sense (I'm always thinking about the finitude of time and the fact that I'm always losing time and fear letting it slip through my fingers without making something of it). |

Didn't you once speak of wanting flowers, too?
I think I've doubled down on recommending Malleus designs in life. |

I dunno, I was thinking of getting Art Nouveau and Art Deco tattoos, preferably some abstract pattern rather than one of those Art Nouveau framed women or the Chrysler Building or something, but I couldn't really think of anything. I'm also wondering how it'd fit with the other tattoos I want, which are a bit less modernist and a bit more rustic. |
