Mayonnaise on french fries and burgers is popular in Ireland. As is curry sauce on french fries and burgers. As is deep frying a burger pattie so you don't have to deal with that annoying bread or other toppings when you're drunk af trying to walk home at 2am and starving. You just hold it, burn your fingers and eat it.

Love curry sauce. I can get a fix here and here. I've tried to like mayo but I'm done. No mayo on tortas either, not necessary with the avocado and crema. No macaroni, potato, chicken, tuna or egg salad for me.

Petition to ban Miracle Whip as well. Puke face.

Many places in the Midwest and well all over the country will offer a "California burger" or at least have it available to get on the side upon request.

How about french fries in your burrito? Popular in California, especially San Diego. Many taquerías in Phoenix, Vegas and to a lesser extent Chicago will offer a "California burrito". I don't hate it like I do mayo but it's just too much filler in my opinion so I haven't ordered one in a long time.

No, my parents had nothing to do with it, at least not directly. But clearly, if I was just some dude with felonies who applied, I would never have a chance. And the professor I am working for is like a professor emeritus.

I hate grammar. I have a 84% right now in the course and the midterm will be super hard. I will spend all day tomorrow studying this crap.

i dont know the words for these fancy grammar things but i rite reel gud apparently. i submitted a 15,000 word thesis to a professor that hates semicolons and he didn't say any of them were wrong. fuck yeah. and believe me, he was an old fashioned "he or she" must always be used and not "they" guy even though that convention is old as fuck and not followed anymore by any style manual. that's my litmus test to if you're the old fart grammar police or not. for the record I prefer to use "he or she" when possible (like hypotheticals) but it's not the motherfucking rule anymore. for example: "whoever picked 300, he or she is the closest to the actual number of testicles in the jar" sounds stupid af

and here i am sitting in silence preparing my biblical exegesis outline and 2 page start draft acting like i'm working so hard. it will need to be 10 pages in the end so I need to make this outline good for my own sake. got a frikking mid-term exam for my online class (we meet in-person for it and sucks i gotta commute one-hour to campus on a goddamn saturday) tomorrow morning, but i ain't even worried.

don't i know it. i was afraid i would have to drop a class at my new school cause a a laptop was required, which really triggered the part of me that grew up poor and it made me angry i had the option to either spend more big money or not be in that class. especially since i need that class.

thankfully tim was nice enough to buy me a small laptop and let me pay him back (he makes more than i do and he loves me). still sucks that "higher education" really isn't kind to people who don't have tons of expendable income. i really just need that piece of paper that says i did well enough on homework aka that degree.

this entire conversation is making me question returning to school for my Master's once my kid is starting preschool (it would be IMPOSSIBLE currently and very fucking hard even once she's in school....). I'll have to do something to prevent needing a job at a Mini Mart and 3 roommates, and my resume is already troubling, so the more education I can claim the better. rebuilding is humbling.
