what do you wake up for in the morning? what makes you hopeful? what do you look forward to? are you ambitious? do you dream? do you have a sense of purpose? are you happy?

Not much, really. I'm not about to kill myself, but I honestly can't name one thing that I "wake up for" in the morning, other than the fact that I need to work because I need the money because I want to eat.

i personally think so. i lived in my car for a while this summer and i gotta admit that i'd never felt so free. i could go wherever i wanted and didn't have to answer to anyone or report anywhere. i drove around the country a bit, lived on bananas and water, slept in motel parking lots. i met a hitchhiker in west virginia and i drove him to illinois and bought him dinner at taco bell. it was nice.
