billy was talked about on howard stern yesterday (wednesday)

nothing important really. i was listening to the replay on sirius last night and the song they picked to listen to was bwbw. howard was singing along (he didnt know any of the verse lyrics, just the chorus).
howard: man this song is awesome, smashing pumpkins. what was the guys name again?
fred: billy corgan
howard: billy corgan -- that great bald bastard. what an awesome songwriter. what ever happened to him?
fred: i think he made a solo album?
robin: and a poetry book!
howard: despite all my rage, i am still just a rat in a cage.

and then they went on to discuss things being caged, etc. no news or anything, just a mention of a mention.

actual they went on to discuss "Rage" after keying in on that in the song. Howard said something like most all diseases come from bottled up rage. but very few people acknowledge it and know how to deal with there own. but really the BWBW song was played as segway to there former radio mate who is in jail, there rat in the cage who isnt doing well in jail.
