What's the most awkward thing you've ever said to a crush?
On our last day of class, I said to her 'goodbye forever' because I am a fucking motherfucking idiot who doesn't deserve command of the english language
What in the fuck was I expecting her to say to that?? What am I doing? |

in like 8th grade i looked up his number in the white pages (remember those? plus he had a unique last name so there were only about 4 listings) and asked him for help with a math problem. he was a math wizard. he answered my question then told me not to call him again. lololol middle school

accidentally clicked on a linknd or whatever profile thinking it was Facebook
well you get an email telling you someone checked your profile this was a woman who worked on the other side of the grocery store when I bagged groceries, we waved hello everyday but now she knew I Google stalked her |

boys never knew i had crushes on them cause i don't think i ever had "crushes". if i had a thing for a dude, it happened instantly because of how he moved, smiled, or talked to other people. i either made a move or didn't and moved on quickly.
i used to think a boy at college was super cute and noticed him specific days of the week. so i would make a point to look for him and sit around that area hoping to see him, but he didn't seem super interesting or anything. but once i saw a boy at a local show who was chatting people up and i liked the cut of his jib. i also noticed the back of his church camp shirt so i walked up to him and asked "what are you?" (asking about religion, but didn't care too much) which caught his interest and we "dated" for a few weeks. he played the cello and i got to meet his parents and we went to bass symphony hall. i guess that was an awkward thing to ask Last edited by yo soy el mejor : 01-05-2018 at 04:15 PM. |

when i had crushes in middle school, i was very open as in i asked if they wanted to play paper football with me etc. and i promptly wrote about it in my diary.

In high school basically my every interaction was awkward af.
I told my best friend at the time who I had a huge crush on "hey i'm into girls and I love you!" and actually expected a reaction that wasn't her immediately running away (which is obviously what happened). I had no creep-o-meter back then (and only barely do now). Last edited by LaBelle : 01-05-2018 at 05:48 PM. |

Haha I'm going through this stuff a bit late
She handled it so gracefully, she was like 'you know we still have class? see you in class!' and then she didn't show up to class. Which was good cause I sure didn't deserve to see her again |

On a positive note, once you found the "right" person there's no awkward that will push them away, they'll see it as a cute quirk.

i disagree, i had no problem getting boyfriends and girlfriends in HS. I guess alcohol and ecstasy help, though. Great 3 year relationship that ended with us not speaking for the past decade and probably never again. very awkward. i was a clingy mess from 14-18, i don't blame him.

And I would do anything for love I'd run right into hell and back I would do anything for love I'd never lie to you and that's a fact But I'll never forget the way you feel right now Oh no, no way And I would do anything for love Oh I would do anything for love I would do anything for love, but I won't do that No, I won't do that
Some days it don't come easy Some days it don't come hard Some days it don't come at all, and these are the days that never end Some nights you're breathing fire Some nights you're carved in ice Some nights you're like nothing I've ever seen before or will again Maybe I'm crazy, but it's crazy and it's true I know you can save me, no-one else can save me now but you As long as the planets are turning As long as the stars are burning As long dreams are coming true You'd better believe it, that I would do Anything for love Oh I would do anything for love Oh I would do anything for love, but I won't do that No, I won't do that I would do anything for love Anything you've been dreaming of, but I just won't do that I would do anything for love Anything you've been dreaming of, but I just won't do Some days I pray for silence Some days I pray for soul Some days I just pray to the god of sex and drums and rock 'n' roll Maybe I'm lonely, that's all I'm qualified to be That's just one and only, the one and only promise I can keep As long as the wheels are turning As long as the fires are burning As long as your prayers are coming true You'd better believe it, that I would do Anything for love And you know it's true and that's a fact I would do anything for love, and there'll never be no turning back But I'll never do it better than I do it with you, so long, so long I would do anything for love Oh, I would do anything for love I would do anything for love, but I won't do that No, no, no, I won't do that Will you raise me up? will you help me down? Will you get me right out of this godforsaken town? Will you make it all a little less cold? I can do that I can do that Will you cater to every fantasy I got? Will you hose me down with holy water, if I get too hot? Will you take me places I've never known? I can do that Oh no, I can do that I know the territory, I've been around It'll all turn to dust and we'll all fall down Sooner or later you'll be screwing around I won't do that No, I won't do that Anything for love But I won't do that |

An album-length song by Meatloaf could never be an awkward thing to say to anybody.

When I was 14 I called up every boy I knew and asked them if they would go out with me, if I asked them. I guess I was conducting a survey, to see what my options were like.
There was a lot of other awkward stuff, but the thread called for the most awkward. And I THINK that's it. |
