Default Pumpkins songs you skip the most

(1988-2000 cause otherwise it'd be pointless)

i've listened to BWBW a small, small fraction of the time i've listened to other songs because...i dunno...it's so commercial. the pumpkins i love are the dark, pretty, beautiful shit most people don't understand...that's not played on the radio. it's to get fucked up and listen to alone and reflect on your life

From each album in that time period, the songs I would be most likely to skip are:

Gish: Crush
Siamese Dream: Disarm
Pisces: A Girl Named Sandoz
Mellon Collie: Tales of a Scorched Earth
Adore: Tear
Machina I: The Sacred and Profane
Machina II: Innosense

"Superchrist" was a single release, so how would you listen to that song?

Disarm. The solo mellotron arrangement from the In Plainsong 2016 shows was the first time I really, really loved the song. I find the arrangement on SD incredibly maudlin & unlistenable.

Gish: Rhinoceros
Siamese Dream: Quiet + Today
Pisces: Nothing, love everything on the album
Mellon Collie: D2D - Take Me Down / T2S - Beautiful
Adore: Annie-Dog (great song live but I hate the album version)
Machina I: Coin toss between HMM and GATGC
Machina II: Real Love

I'm still in that point myself, I'm just too damn impatient to get to Hummer.

Skipping songs is wrong btw. If you're gonna listen to a record you should listen to the entire thing from start to finish from stem to stern. the way it was meant to be right and proper.

The overdubbed guitar feedback does make the brillant song that James wrote almost unlistenable however.

Gish: Siva every now and then
SD: I'll often skip CR and just start with Quiet
MCIS: Same but starting with Jellybelly. And I'll often just end with WOCOAN. Thirty Three and Toase half the time. I need to be in the right mood for a complete listen through.
Adore: Perfect, Shame, For Martha. Like with MCIS, need to be in the right mood and I don't want to ever overplay the emotional numbers off this one.
MI and MII: I hardly ever listen to these in running order anymore, especially MI, but it's rare that I throw on SIYL or Innosense.
