Speaking of Fish!

My girlfriend and I are going to be moving in with each other in a couple months (and I could rant about what I've been ranting about all night, about how I I put a lot of time into this website and it turned around and fucked me in the ass because of impulsiveness and a lack of contract on my part, but I won't!). We're just saving up some money and getting things all straighten out (that goddamn money from that website would have), and we are super super excited. Wee and good stuff. (fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck...) So, we are thinking that when we move in we'll put together a little saltwater aquarium, and we'll get a few jaw fish, because they are funny little creatures full of pazah...and then a few months or so down the road we'll put some money into getting a freshwater stingray. (OH MY FUCKING GOD. IT WAS LIKE TWO GRAND, AND 30 HOURS OF MY FUCKING TIME.) We are absolutely sold on them. They are wonderful serene animals, and I could just watch them for hours. I have, actually. So has anyone owned any of these? Had any experience on them? I have a few books, and I've been doing a lot of research, but I was curious if anyone could give annecdotal information about caring for them. Most people I talk to aren't even aware that you can have such a thing as a pet. (I'm going to arch my back and shit on my own face.) Worse comes to worse, we can just turn this thread into a Stingray appreciation montage. I'll start!
