i believe it's not allowed to be shared because he recorded it to commercially release with the chicagosongs dvd or something, right?

a dVD that will never see the light of day
can someone set up a torrent on Zomb? actually make it a torrent for all of these: * Billy Corgan 2004-04-19 Metro show * Spun out takes * Gish rough mixes * Zwan rough mixes * PI & F (until I hear different) * Hideout II Compilation - it's MP3 sourced :P |

are the "Hideout" shows all available? (or are some folks hoarding?)
if so I guess I could make my own compilation... PI & F are all sourced from commercially available releases.... (that's what oink is for) GISH & MSOTS rough mixes probably sound very much like the commercially available release, so... but HUB peeps are usually DIE HARD fans that already have copies of every Commercially available release (so i'm not sure why the tight lip) I"m not sure what the story about the SPUN outtakes is... (might be like the previous) Billy wants to be renown for "giving it all to the fans", and has does so in personally sharing "demos", SMB recordings, MachinaII i'm not sure who's sending "cease and decist" orders or why Billy would even try to control any ROIO that's already on the internet I'd understand if it applied to "imminent" un-released material that he plans on releasing (ex: chicago songs) but it's 2007.... and everything outside the Paris photos should be up for grabs (aside from the single cover we've allllll seen and already love ) |

either way, I have no beef with the HUB
I like the way it's run, and I'm happy to have it. rules are rules, no need for me to fuss. can someone help me get stuff that I can't find on the HUB? |

so because billy has been so nice to share the gravity demos and the faeomm tape, he should suddenly be ok with everything being spread online?
i'm not sure if he is or isn't, but why should he have to be ok with commercially released stuff being made available on the hub or via torrents? and how about music he never released in the first place? shouldn't it be his choice what he wants to let the fans hear, since he's the artist? also, the hub and other places don't allow these, to avoid getting in trouble. the "diehard fans already own all the albums anyway" argument is a bit worthless here. if they would get in trouble, this argument won't save their ass. |

I have the flacs (shn?) somewhere, I'll see what I can do.
I think the ban is retarded, it is 2007, he's not releasing it. Didnt he say people couldnt appreciate it or seomthing. |

Liberation is always a good thing, for communist regimes, dictatorships, and hoarded FLACs.
Thanks in advance |

the deal is that if zomb and the hub want to ban all commercially available and/or will be commercially available material, then banning the hideout and 4/19/04 bc shows would fit that rule. it's not "frank quinto wants them banned." i'm only setting the record straight. if the hub and zomb want to enforce those types of rules, more power to them. if they allowed hideout/chicago songs, then they would be contradicting themselves. thats all.

and @ oink they only let you share commercially available material.
we have enough resources to cater and/or bend every different rule those that want to share, know where to share what they have. Lock thread???????? |
