First time hearing this. Man, that chorus sounds like every other generic butt-rock song that is on "alternative" radio stations these days. Woof.

I simply hate the intro - it sounds cheesy, pop, generic and nothing like Billy would (or should) be pround of writing. It also doesn't make any favor to the vocals, which, in this case, were made to be buried in the mix.

It song gets better from 00:35, with the guittars and more real drums. By the way, since the drums are so buried in the mix and combined with eletronic drums, Mike Byrne and Tommy Lee wouldn't sound much different.

In my opinião, it doesn't sound much like Zwan or TbK. It sounds more like TFE, in the same vein as TILT. It's not a bad song.

That said, I don't think it will have an impact on either the fanbase or the general fan. I can't see any radio station playing this song.

Agreed that this sounds like a mix of everything post-Machina. Intro = TFE, Melody = Zwan, Vocals = Oceania, etc.

Like most of Teargarden, will listen to this a few times, then never again. There's nothing that sticks.

nope. could have been Mike in the studio and I doubt you'd hear a big difference on the track.

we'll hear how this one goes live with um... yet another drummer.

I took the liberty of EQ-ing the track and removing some digital artifacts...should have sounded like this from the start IMO. Still doesn't save the song as a whole, but it keeps the ears from bleeding...

No joke, I could see this song in a laxative commercial.

I find this song and pretty much everything he's done since Zwan to be insulting to what came before then.

I'll pass on this one too Corgs.

I should had listen almost 10 times now.

At first listen yeah it scared me as general pop rock song. Now it grew up a bit with time...

Maybe the same sentimental level as TFE.
And sounds between TFE, Teargarden and a tiny bit of Zwan.

At end maybe better than any Zeit or Oceania song.
But not a masterpiece at all.

I like it. Reminds me a bit of a Zeitgeist b-side like "Stellar" kinda or a Machina II deep cut.

Say what you will about it, but it's far better than the Foo Fighters new beige-fest.

What did you do. It sounds 100% better. It removes all that terrible metallic feeling I was talking about.

-3db notch at 3khz, 16x anti-alias = same feel, but subconscious piercing noises are reduced.

Its supposed to...in theory. It is in fact easier on the ears (if using a proper sound system/headphones...not earbuds or PC speakers).

The remasters suffer from the same shit. Some of those Adore demos make my ears hurt. Can't listen to it. I just get headaches like someone is squeezing my temples.

One listen and this is better than anything Corgan has put out post-Zwan.

I mean, it has a hook. Intro is really nice. Drums are decent. Vocals are high but what can you do?

It's pretty much Zwan-standard Corgan.

Excited for this album now.

Has about as much personality as Jeff. Re: none.
Not sure what the point of Tommy Lee is? This really doesn't feel a million miles away from Burnz' bash-a-rama 'style'
I'm sure it will go down a treat with the soccer moms though. So, well done Belly. Another success.

Here's the new Foo Fighters song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3B0Vx_yQgo#t=137. It's not great but it has this warm matte production quality that sounds pleasing in my brainbox.

Everything from the Pumpkins since the reunion has this sharp, hollow, metallic production quality to it that just fucking hurts my ears.

Is this simply a mixing/mastering style? The type of equipment?
I love that the two songs came out so near each other that you can really compare how things are going with Dave Grohl versus Billy Corgan

I don't give a shit how much you guys hate FF, their new song is better than Being Beige
